Division 19 Christmas Fundraiser and Food Drive
The brothers of the John O’Hagan Division 19 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Kings County are eager to announce and invite you all to our upcoming fundraiser and food drive initiative for the Christmas season. The event is scheduled for December 9th from 2:00pm-6:00pm at our divisions home The Baile Na N‘Gael in Gerritsen Beach (2750 Gerritsen Avenue Brooklyn New York 11229) Tickets will be sold at the door for $30.00 and includes all you can eat and drink (beer, wine, soda, water) We will be hosting our Lucky Christmas tree 50/50 and will also have prizes available for a raffle. Entertainment will be provided by the Susan and Gerard band with an appearance by the O’Malley School of Irish Dance. Bring your families as Santa Calus will be in attendance. We will have a camera set up and will deliver all Santa pictures via email following the events completion.
The fundraiser is meant to benefit the charitable work of the brothers of Division 19 throughout the year but we are also holding a food drive in coordination with our event. If you bring a non perishable food item to donate to our food drive we will be offering $5.00 off of admission for the event ($25.00 admission) The food will be donated to a combination of 2 organizations who distribute food to those in need this holiday season St. Edmund Prep’s Midnight Run as well as St. John’s Bread and Life. This food drive is designed to uphold our initiative from our motto of True Christian Charity and is important to the overall mission of The Ancient Order of Hibernians.

All donations raised online leading up to the event will directly benefit the food drive portion of our event and after a donation is collected we will thank all donors publicly at the event and also follow up with a post on our divisions social media channels on Facebook and Instagram.
